Freight companies are also obliged to provide you with adequate insurance coverage for your shipments. But bear in mind that there are certain actions that will negate that coverage - for instance, packing your belongings yourself. Many insurance companies will refuse to insure a shipment unless it is packaged by the freight company's packers. The reason for this is simple: the insurance companies are assuming that you are not professional packers and will not pack your goods as well as the packers provided by the freight company can pack them. So, even though it might cost you a bit more to have the freight company pack your goods, it will save you hassle and money in the event that your goods arrive damaged.

Freight companies are much needed service providers that nevertheless must be vetted before chosen so that you end up with a freight forwarder that suits your needs.

We have built strong relationships and partners worldwide in the 23 years I have been in the freight business. I really care about people, and will never rest until you are thrilled with my service from day one to the final completion of the project.
